What Damaging Autocomplete Looks Like
Google autocomplete suggestions are generated from the most common search queries that begin with those characters. When enough people search "[Your Name] + cheater" — because a Tea App post, AWDTSG thread, or gossip site post went viral — Google learns that combination and suggests it to every future searcher.
The damage is disproportionate to the source content. Even if the original post is removed, the autocomplete suggestion can persist for months, continuing to imply misconduct to employers, clients, dates, and anyone who searches your name.
